I got involved with Liberty Mean through Ohio State’s Theatre Department’s newsletter. My initial video audition was actually on a whim, since I figured that my minimal film experience would diminish my chances. Much to my (extremely pleasant) surprise, I received a callback. One thing led to another and I was ultimately cast as Sully. As his role in the film is largely off screen, I was able to spend a lot of time just observing and learning from the cast and crew’s work. It was really great to break in film with such a fun, and hilarious, project. I most definitely look forward to the sequel, Liberty Mean 2: Sully vs The Zombie Apocalypse!
